Boomerang is the typical weapon of the Aborigines of flying devices with curved shapes are used as weapons or for sport. Although usually considered a device of wood, modern boomerang used for sports are often made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic or other high-tech materials. Historically, a boomerang-like devices have also been made of bone. Boomerang comes in different shapes and sizes depending on their geographic origin or ethnic group and intended function.
